Install the e2fsprogs-devel package for uuid support

  • Start YAST and go to the "install and remove software" control panel.
  • Search for the e2fsprogs package.
  • Check the e2fsprogs-devel package for installation
  • Click the "Accept" button.
  • Insert the appropiate CD and wait for installation to Finish
